Here's the part I don't want you to miss...
The key element in a Romantic room is the Bed. But its not rely only on its beauty or colour the comfort...
You might know that when designing any project, there will be a"Key to focus on"
Let me be more precise..
So, when you design a Romantic room the key is the Bed. And If you plan to design a room with, and wanting to give it a designer touch yourself, you need to consider a few things first.
Step # 1- The size of your room
first measure your room and have a sketch. Now think which place best suit for your bed. According to your room size you can choose from double to king size. If your room is extra small or studio apartment you can go for a sofa cum bed.
STEP # 2 -The Concept
Now you know the size ,what about your concept? Select your concept.Choosing the concept is easy. Find some images for inspiration and check which one matches with your dream room in your mind. Select the best one or choose few and combine together.Find Which type of design it is, Example contemperory,modern or vintage style etc...if you don't have any idea about it, no worries .Check online for few bed design which suits your idea. list it according to your taste.Best,medium,normal ,ok....
Step # 3 - The Colour
Colour is a vital part in design . If you have a colour theme it will be easy to move on .Unfortunately if you don't or confused...follow these steps.first select some images of your desires places (where you like to visit,frequently visit or your dream destination ) ,things or materials you liked most.Then put everything into a picture collage. choose few colours from the images.Minimum 3 maximum 5 .Now get some colour samples.Same as in fabric,wood or leather,if its possible. Observe how it reflect in natural and artificial light.Select the best one.
TIP:To create the mood best choose warm and cozy colours from the colour wheel.
Step # 4 - Type of Bed
Once you decide the concept,size and colour then select the type of your bed accordingly.One of the big step which creates your mood. Canopy bed with silk shifons sheears increase your mood and create a private space to open up to your partner without limitation.
The headboard is another piece of elegant ..it can be upholesterd, wooden or beautifully crafted in rought Iron it should come along with your desired design concept.
Step # 5 - The mattress
When you select your matress don't forget to touch and feel it .Sit and lie and experience it.Don't be shy .Depend on your health and body condition select the best one.To add more comfort another layer of pillow top. You can add various add ons depend on your desire and budget.
Step # 6 - The comforter
If you prefer the hotel room type interior you should focus on white bed covers and comforters. Soft silky satin comforter and runner gives an extra luxuary to your roamance.Check for the label for the filling which should be cotton more than the silk.
Step # 7- Accent light
Even though the bed is the key element of the room.The overall impact will be created by accent lights.This can be created by a combination of light sources. Lamp shades, spot lights, LED lights and the best one I personally like the most..perfumed candles.Which gives the aroma to the atmosphere and make my self calm and lift my mood.
Silky Sheers,curtains,cushions,throws, pillows, accessories,mirrors and other furniture pieces all essential and need to be harmonized with the theme to get the best out of the best performance for ever lasting relationship and the quality of sleep.
Similar to a relationship, each step should mix and match through out the concept to support each other.
